If you are interested in improving the Wharton experience for undergraduates while developing your skills as a student leader in a close-knit team of hardworking and fun individuals, then consider applying to join Wharton Council during the spring semester. In order to maintain the quality of Wharton Council initiatives and the sense of community within the Wharton Council, recruitment of the new members (or “newbies”) is taken very seriously. We are looking for students who have a passion to improve student life at Wharton, who are creative in coming up with or improving upon our initiatives, and who are committed to excellence in the execution of events. Each new member will have a specific focus within the Wharton Council by being part of a specific committee, but all members are expected to help in the planning and implementation of Council-wide initiatives. WC recruitment takes place every year during the spring semester.
