The official mission of the Wharton Council is to foster a more complete co-curricular experience for the Wharton undergraduate community. We do this in two main ways: by supporting Wharton clubs, and by executing our own school-wide social events and initiatives. We support Wharton clubs through funding, the annual Wharton Undergraduate Leadership Forum for new club leaders, and by providing marketing channels to advertise events (for example, through the Wharton Exchange).

Our school-wide social initiatives are called "Traditions" because they are intended to create shared experiences for Wharton undergraduates across classes and concentrations. To see a list of some of our major events, refer to the Calendar.

The Council has a flat structure, and all Council members assume equal amounts of responsibility within our group. Each event that we run has several Council members that spearhead it, but the entire Council helps with execution. Each member is also involved as a liaison to support the 40+ Wharton clubs.
